WHY PINK’S? THE STORY OF GRANDPA PINK
“I remember this one photo growing up of this black and white picture of this man leaning on a 1932 Ford Roadster with a row of 10 cars side by side at an angle. He had his arm around his girl, wearing a white tee with one sleeve rolled with his Marlboro Reds and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. I heard all these stories growing up with my Dad about Grandpa Pink and how he got his nickname racing cars. Back in those days, they raced for pink slips which was your title. If you lost a race you signed it over”
